Joseph H. Polley Award Ceremony

On February 17, 2016, a large crowd gathered in the second floor courtroom in the historic Wilson County courthouse to witness the induction of Joseph Henry Polley into the First Pioneers and Leaders of the State of Texas Hall of Fame by the STAR Day Foundation. This foundation (State of Texas Anniversary Remembrance) aims to preserve the legacies of great Texas pioneers and promote Texas History on Statehood Day in schools across the state. It was a beautiful day for a wonderful ceremony to honor Joseph H. Polley!
